Climate change and sustainability are the drivers for more renewable energy in many countries. Windmills and photovoltaic on rooftops are the evidence that energy production and energy markets are in transition. In the first half of 2014, renewable energy had a 28,5% share of electricity consumed in Germany. The growing share of renewables impacts the energy markets, amendments are necessary as well as the ability to adapt.

On October 23, 2014 the present and the future of energy markets will be discussed by Norwegian and German energy experts in Berlin. Until October 10, 2014 you can register for the event with speakers from Agder Energi, Ecohz AS, eSmart Systems, Markedskraft ASA, NASDAQ OMX, Nest AS, Statkraft Markets GmbH, Statnett SF, Statoil. The political side will be represented by state secretaries from Norway and Germany.
