The German market research company TNS Infratest Business Intelligence has interviewed 150 IT-experts in Germany on their expectations on the competition in the IT-field of ehealth in the future. The survey revealed that Scandinavian technology is expected the strongest threat of competition together with US technology.
Germany, the most populous country in Europe with the second oldest population in the world is feeling the pressure of modernizing its health care processes and discussing on the solutions of the future.
Also health specialized magazines like Ärzteblatt are looking to Scandinavia and reporting on the Nordic countries as pioneers in terms of ehealth and facilitation of the demographic change.
Kathrine Myhre, CEO of Oslo Medtech, is also reporting on contact with German clusters interested in Norwegian technology.
