A world-wide increase of demand for energy is predicted and that goes hand in hand with an increase of CO2 emissions. To protect the climate, research on technologies and on processes that utilize CO2 is being conducted.
In a workshop on November 18 and 19, 2014 in Dusseldorf, Germany, experts will discuss how to use CO2 as a resource. CO2 utilization methods for industrial application are being increasingly recognized as a method by which global CO2 emissions can be reduced.
Two experts from Norway, Eva Halland from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and Kristofer Hetland from Statoil will share their expertise.
The workshop is organized by the Cluster EnergyRegion.NRW – Power Plant Technology Network North Rhine-Westphalia in co-operation with Innovation Norway and the Rotterdam Climate Initiative.
Target group: Industry, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Public Authority, Scientists
